User Info: Master User Info: beartrapsnap. I'm wondering this too, just arrived at this point in the story.

Sure, the Krogans are dangerous, but they're basically blackmailing Shepard and if they don't help? Possible extinction of all species in the galaxy.

It just seems contrived and And like IRL I would probably help the Krogan because they're badass and it's the morally correct thing to do. But if helping the Salarians gets me more War Assets or something better in return I dunno what I should do.

Here is the deal, it totally depends on the past. Killed Wrex? Obviously you can cure the genophage which is all nice cupcakes and rainbows but in times of war you need to do what's hard and assure multiple allies. To that end the best thing to do is to allow the sabotage.

When you are in the final talk with Mordin you can try and delay him wont work or you can tell him of the sabotage. If you stick to the 'evil' plan but don't have enough renegade or paragon points you will only have two options "I'm not stopping you" or "I will stop you". If you do have enough renegade points, avoid using the renegade interrupt and instead choose "I will stop you". A renegade prompt appears allowing you to shoot Mordin in the back and prevent him from curing the genophage.

This causes the Krogan to believe they are cured and the Salarians happy because there will not be a Krogan uprising. This nets you two more armies for your fight against the Reapers. Ultimately the Salarians get scared and commit their fleets and resources anyway down the road so If you sabotage the cure, then later in the game you're forced to kill Wrex since he knows what you did. The true effects on this Mission's outcome are decided on three choices you've made, one in each game of the trilogy.

The first factor that influences things is whether or not Wrex is alive, and is something that was decided all the way back in Mass Effect 1. The fate of Eve is actually determined by a choice you make in Mass Effect 2. While it doesn't look it at the time, this choice effectively determines whether Eve will live or die.

At the end of Mordin 's Loyalty Mission, Old Blood, you'll be faced with the choice to destroy Maelon's data or keep it. The effects of this choice will come to fruition during "Priority: Tuchanka " in Mass Effect 3.

The Mass Effect 3 factor begins before you went to Tuchanka : you got a message from the Salarian Dalatrass that they had sabotaged the Shroud so that a cure will be ineffective, and the Dalatrass is willing to offer her best scientists and full fleet support if Shepard can keep it that way.

While en-route to Tuchanka in the shuttle, you can attempt to tell Eve about it, however you'll be interrupted. Now we come to the climax at the Shroud. Because of the fight between Kalros and the Reaper , the Shroud is now catastrophically coming apart, but your STG Doctor remains adamant.

Here's how things will play out:. There's one final niggle to all of this. If this is what happened for you, then there is one final scene to this tale. After you meet with the Asari Councillor and pick up Priority: Thessia , when you attempt to enter the Normandy via Docking Bay D24 you'll encounter Wrex, who has discovered your betrayal.
